Primary Temperaments

$7.00

The Primary Temperaments IQ Matrix explores the four primary temperaments based on the work of John T. Cocoris. Temperaments are inborn traits that direct how we relate to others, how we respond to events, and how we react to the world and situations in general. A temperament is in other words our animal nature of how we are at the core of our being. These temperaments are built upon a specific set of traits, and these traits form the basis of four primary temperaments that are known as the Choleric, Sanguine, Phlegmatic, and Melancholy temperaments. Each temperament comes with its own unique set of strengths and weaknesses that affect how people respond to the world around them. However, any one temperament isn’t necessarily better than others; it all depends on how a person chooses to live their life.

Who is this map for?

  • Anyone who would like to better understand their true nature: Why they do what they do!
  • Anyone who wants to learn more about temperaments and how they shape our personality.
  • Anyone who has kids and wants to better recognize their natural temperament traits.

    Product Description

The first branch of the Primary Temperaments IQ Matrix defines what a temperament is all about. In addition to this the branch also highlights the value and importance of learning to accept and embrace the temperament we are naturally born with. Despite the strengths and weaknesses of each temperament we are naturally at our best when we embrace who we are fully without resistance.

The remaining four branches of the map explore the four primary temperaments including The Choleric, Sanguine, Phlegmatic, and Melancholy temperaments. Within each of these four branches you will discover what makes each of these temperaments unique through an exploration of their natural tendencies and inclinations when relating with people and while interacting with the world.

Reading through this map and familiarizing yourself with these four primary temperaments will help you to identify which one of these four temperaments best describes how you are as a person at your core. Identifying your temperament type will reveal your natural strengths and weaknesses. You can then work on developing your strengths while addressing any weaknesses that might be hindering you in some way. In addition to this, you will be better able to recognize these temperaments within the people you interact with, and as such you will more effectively understand how to influence these people to your way of thinking.

  • Understanding Temperaments

    $7.00

The Understanding Temperaments IQ Matrix explores the ten inborn temperament traits that shape the foundations of our personality. A temperament is not a personality, however they are related. A temperament is a cluster of inborn traits that have genetic origins. These traits effectively influence how we respond to people, events and situations, while also directing our natural preferences and inclinations. On the other hand a personality refers to the individual differences in characteristic patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. In other words, a personality is made up of very specific temperament traits that when mixed together with an individual’s qualities and life experience help shape that personality.

    $7.00

The Personality Types 9-12 IQ Matrix breaks down 4 of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator. The purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by Carl Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives. Carl Jung speculated that there are four principal psychological functions by which humans experience the world: Sensation, Intuition, Feeling and Thinking. Jung stipulated that each of these four functions is dominant for a person most of the time. The essence of the theory is that we all have specific preferences in the way we construe our experiences. As a result, these preferences underlie our interests, needs, values, skills and motivation; effectively placing us in one of the 16 personality types.
