Four Pillars of Responsibility

$5.00

The Pillars of Responsibility IQ Matrix explores four pillars of responsibility that we must all strive to address to live an accomplished life. To live an accomplished life requires taking full responsibility for ourselves, for our life, and for our circumstances. When we take responsibility we take matters into our own hands. There are no more excuses, there is no blaming, and no complaining. We, ourselves, are responsible for everything, and, therefore, we alone shape our destiny with our own minds and hands.

Pillar #1 addresses the idea of being responsible for our aim and goals in life. Pillar #2 challenges us to take responsibility for our focus and attention. And Pillars #3 and #4 make us accountable for our attitude and actions. We are, of course, in full control of each pillar. There are, therefore, no excuses for neglecting responsibility in any one of these four areas.

Who is this map for?

  • Anyone who feels as though their life is out of their hands.
  • Anyone who makes excuses, throws blame, and complains when things don’t go their way.
  • Anyone who would like to understand how to shape their destiny with their own hands.

“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”  Abraham Lincoln

Here is a quick breakdown of each branch of the Pillars of Responsibility mind map.

P1 – AIM: The first pillar addresses the idea of taking responsibility for our goals, ambitions, and vision. It presents a series of self-reflection questions that you can use to take responsibility for these areas of your life.

P2 – ATTENTION: The second pillar addresses the idea of taking responsibility for our attention and the quality of our focus. Where our attention flows, that’s often where our energy goes. Here you are presented with several self-reflection questions that will help you to take responsibility for this area of your life.

P3 – ATTITUDE: The third pillar addresses the idea of taking responsibility for our attitude and how we respond to problems, adversity, as well as difficult people and emotions. Attitude is all about perspective. And taking responsibility for our perspective is the key to taking charge of our attitude.

P4 – ACTION: The fourth pillar addresses the idea of taking responsibility for our actions. Actions must, of course, align with our aim, attention, and attitude. The key here is to address unfocused behaviors and habits that tend to sabotage our progress.

When we take full responsibility for these four areas of our lives that is when the magic happens. That’s when life takes on new meaning and this subsequently helps us work with a higher level of intentional purpose toward the accomplishment of our most important and meaningful goals.

Referencing the map regularly and committing it to memory will help you to embed these principles into your subconscious mind. Only in this way will you develop optimal habits of mind and patterns of behavior that will help you to become more responsible for your life, for yourself, and your circumstances.

A mind map, of course, does this beautifully because it mirrors the synaptic connections made in your brain as you try to establish new habits of thought and behavior. It brings together key concepts and ideas that help your brain to fully integrate and process this information. The brain, subsequently, rewires itself as it attempts to establish new habits of mind. It’s an ideal tool for creating lasting change and transformation.
